First stage of recruitment procedure went very well. We're really glad for having 92 of 138 registered candidates appear for the test. We also thank our team members and all the volunteers who helped us out with the procedure. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted personally and evaluated based on their expertise. Looking forward to a great team. Thank you all.

People who are interested and haven't yet filled the form are requested to make a choice soon since the form will stop responding from 9:30AM, 11th of  July. Let your friends know if you've already done it. Thank you. Click here to access form.

The Recruitment test!

The date is out! Robocon recruitment test will be conducted this Friday i.e., 12th of July, 2019. Prepare right and tidy up for the same. We're wishing the best for and from you. *For prioritized evaluation fill out this form. ( Redirect to form by tapping on this text ) Thank you and have a great time.

Mechanical field

Hi again! Jishnu here. One the most important fields which needs a lot of concentration in basic robotics is Mechanics. We are giving a fair deal to all the mechanical engineers in giving a test and to be part of the team. Minimal skills required are as follows: • Problem solving: Put together the knowledge and analytics, an individual must be able to solve a problem related with mechanics. • Creativity: Mechanical engineering demands creativity. One must be able to think in every way possible to make something run effortlessly and efficiently. • Clear communication abilities/collaboration: Mechanics usually require team work. Thus, it's really important to have the right sense of communication among the mechanical engineers in order to succeed in a task. Also there's a diversity in the fields. This asks for collaboration with members of the other group. • Mathematics: Mathematical analysis is required to sort out a problem without the practical applications...

Programming field

Tizzy up! Kishore here. In order to get into the team, there are some necessities like one should qualify in the exam with minimum scoring.  As far as the coding is a concern, one is allowed to write the code in their suitable environment. Logical reasoning is expected to be the major part to choose. The pattern of question paper will test the ability of problem-solving, logical reasoning, coding skills, data structures and algorithmic binary search, sorting techniques, case study and a bit of knowledge on core or domain related definitions, concepts. BASIC NEEDS: 1.    One should have the minimum knowledge on coding with some basic syntaxes. (doesn’t matter what environment you do). 2.    Analyzing and Algorithmic. (which may include a case study.) 3.     Good reasoning skills

Electronics field.

Hi there! Varun here. Apart from the areas mentioned earlier robotics mainly requires electronic field knowledge which includes the knowledge on processors, sensors which suit perfect and minimal to complete our requirements. We are giving a fair deal to all the electronic engineers in giving a test and to be part of the team. Robotics is a humongous field which requires the expertise of mechanical engineers, electronics engineers and computer scientists. If the chassis of the robot is the skeleton, that is taken care by the mechanical engineers, then the electronics engineers are responsible for the internal organs of the robot. That means they are responsible for the electronics that is required by the robot to complete its tasks. It may be stuff like these 1. Selecting and programming the required micro-processor 2. Selecting the various peripherals required for the robot 3. Designing the hardware required for it. What I mean is, sometimes the present hardware will not be...

The Management field.

Hey there! It's Jishnu again. We need a few recruits in management field. Thus there'll be a test specifically for the purpose. We've put down a set of minimal skills to qualify for the interview also to pass the test. Followed are the requirements: • Planning: One of the primary skills required. Planning  event/trip/budget in the best way possible without offending any member of the team. • Communication: There's always occurrences of misunderstanding, difference in opinion, issue with a single/multiple members of team etc. Solving these require great set of communication skills. • Decision making: A manager will face critical situations where   he/she will need to make the right decision for the team and not back down but learn from experience. • Delegation: Members in the team might fall sick or find some urgent work for themselves. This causes workload. Redistribution of work will be demanded and a manager should be ready to do it. ...

Recruitment process initiated!

Hi everyone! We are glad to announce that we've initiated the recruitment process. For any individual to join, he/she will have to give a test in either one or the other field, the fields being: Coding, Managing, Designing, Others( Field descriptions will be provided individually in the blog). This step will be followed by a shortlisting process and then an interview. Test date and time should be announced soon. Date and time assigned will be different for different groups. Meanwhile, fill this form for a prioritized evaluation. ( Redirect to the form by tapping on this text ) Good luck!

An opener.

Alright, before getting into the team. There are certain things to bother about. Firstly, make sure yourself what made you join the team. if you got that passion to deal with, then welcome this is team Robocon GNITC! Here I better say one deal with not just electronics, mechanics and other technical terms but they are far more things to learn. The team, a kinda ecosystem teaches how to coordinate, understand different mindsets and deal according to it. The team work plays an important role, “together we rise” this thing in mind will really bring good vibes around and there will be some bitter situations too. If we talk about things to do. Here we go with a few 1.    Creativity is the most important thing. We are allowed to make a strategy according to the theme which may out soon. Proper planning and creativity in making things will definitely figure out any gigantic situations. 2.    Commitment to do. 3.Time management: We will get enough t...

Insight.

Hello! I'm Jishnu and I'll try to give you all that I've got on Team Robocon, GNITC. This team represents Gurunanak institutions technical campus in the Robocon championship. It's a great deal of pride to hold a position in this group. All the individuals in here are students who've earned their knowledge practically. This being said, it's not all work here. You'll have all the fun you want in your seniors' company. They'll teach you, talk you through life, help you and most importantly tell you what's next. Like a diversified community, there'll be people from different groups and like a unified community, they all will work up the ladder of success. You might have to sacrifice some time of yours, stay back in college, lose a week's attendance but I assure you that it's all worth it. Go break some eggs now😉
